Celebrate National Night Out at Woodland Mall!

Woodland Mall is proud to host National Night Out, an afternoon of community connection, safety awareness, and family fun!  This annual event brings local law enforcement and first responders together with the families they serve—and you’re invited!

What to Expect:

Meet Local Heroes: Chat with officers from the Kentwood Police Department and other first responders.

Interactive Police Gear Station: Children will have the opportunity to try on authentic police gear—including vests and shields—in a supervised, hands-on environment.

Touch-a-Truck Experience: Kids can explore real police cars, fire trucks, and emergency vehicles up close! Special Response Team (SRT) Truck: A request has been made for the SRT truck to appear on-site, offering a closer look at the tools of the department’s elite unit.

Free Kids’ Activities: Face painting, balloon twisting, crafts, and more. Create-Your-Own

Superhero Mask & Sticker Stations

Photo Ops: Snap a pic with officers. Will include both take-home souvenirs, such as junior hero certificates and badge stickers, and official gear, including traffic vests and a bulletproof vest available for photo use only.

Super Heroes: Special Appearances by Captain America, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel
